Please separate your storm debris,
branches,
concrete, regular garbage and leaves as you
place them
curbside. Doing so will eliminate a
lot of confusion and
possible disappointment.
Tree
branches will continue to be picked-up as needed
by our forces. Liquids (paints, solvents, etc)
that you have left curbside
will be picked-up separately by our forces
and taken to the HHW Facility in
Tinton Falls. If you have any
questions regarding these items, please call the
Department of Public
Works at 732-264-1133

2013,
We Rebuild
We Pray
for those who have lost their homes,
their
belongings and their way of Life. We
are
working to find temporary accommodations
for those
who have been displaced to return to
our
Borough. We continue to re-build the
infrastructure
of our community every day
to regain some sense of normalcy.
As we begin the year 2013, we need to
Thank all of the
massive forces that were
assembled by the
Emergency Management
Command Center
at Borough Hall on Monday,
October 29th
as Hurricane Sandy invaded the
Borough
of Union Beach.
Some of
them include our Emergency
Management
Command Center Officials, our
Police
Department, all of our Fire Departments,
our First
Aid Squad with
mutual aid from our
neighbors in Hazlet, Aberdeen,
Holmdel Heavy
Rescue, Keyport, Centerville,
Red Bank, etc.,
our Public
Works Department, Monmouth
County
Emergency Management Officials, the
Monmouth
County Sheriffs Department, etc.
All of the
above and more used their vehicles
and boats
to rescue hundreds from their
homes
as the storm surge invaded our
Borough.
Vehicles Lost, Lives Saved,
Our
Mission.
As we begin the Year 2013,
we need to
thank all of the Borough Officials,
the
Volunteers from the Borough, the State
of
NJ and around the United States for
their
efforts as we restore and rebuild.
We Love
You and Thank You for Your Efforts.
